Every finding is reviewed before delivery.
Speed has value only when the output is reliable. A report that mixes real issues with false positives costs your associates the time it was supposed to save, and an unverified AI claim in an IC memo is a liability. For that reason, no finding leaves FirstSounding without the approval of a qualified reviewer.

Who reviews
Every report is reviewed by a professional with transaction-services experience, who checks each finding against the source documents and ties out reconciliation and earnings items. When a finding needs deeper expertise, we bring in a specialist:
- A forensic accountant for suspected document tampering, ledger anomalies, or collateral issues
- A regulatory specialist for sector compliance questions
- Contract counsel for change-of-control, assignment, and exclusivity clauses
What review means in practice
The reviewer reads the cited pages, not just our summary of them. Findings that have an innocent explanation in the documents, such as timing differences or reclassifications disclosed in a footnote, are removed or downgraded. Findings that hold are confirmed, sized, and approved. The deal team receives only the findings that withstand review.
Independence and conflicts
Every reviewer is screened for conflicts with the target and with your firm before they see a document. Reviewers work under confidentiality obligations at least as strict as our own.
Scope and limitations
Review is a consulting procedure. It is not an audit, an attestation, or a legal opinion, and every report states this explicitly. If a lender or insurer needs to rely on our work formally, we can arrange a reliance letter or coordinate with your QoE provider. See engagement options.
